Camera-Critters #148

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you?
That's one you might need to think about for awhile.

I want to start learning more about my Camera-Critters friends.
So, each week, I'll ask you a question.
If you want to answer, leave it in the comments.
If you don't feel like answering, that's O.K. too. :-)
We've got a great group of people here.
So, I thought it would be fun if we got to know each other more.

My pets and food :), oh yes and a computer with a connection so I could get off the island at some point.

This one IS really tough!

I guess I'd have to go with...
Fresh Water (boring answer, I know)
A trunk full of books (does that count as one thing?)
And my dog, so I'd at least have some company, as asking for other people to be stranded sounds like cheating.

my cat [wish it was a dog], books and Twinkies. . .wait, maybe chocolate
p.s. I wanted to tell you last week that I loved Prodigal Summer; one of my all time faves.
Happy week!

OMG, I prefer to have lots of water, a tent and a smart phone to call for help...

Thanks for hosting, Misty! Tough question. I would say water and food, my hubby would be upset if I say my dog.

I would bring my husband, my kids and my kitties :-)

I haven't played in a long time! Hope all is well in your world and thanks for continuing to host this great meme!

This is why I don't go sailing, I never want to have to choose what to have if I get stranded. If I had to choose- a solar powered computer, my dog Ricochet, he would keep me busy exploring, protect me and help me find food and my bird Roca, I'd have someone to carry on a conversation with even if the only thing she says is Hello!

Everything else I can live without... :-)

camera, an iPhone (don't have one now!)

I would like to ensure that I maintain my wits. Because that would help me stay alive, gather food, make a shelter and finally escape from the island.
Won't need anything else :)

Hmm, I always have a hard time answering questions like this because I second guess myself all the time!

A computer with an internet connection -- however that might work -- solar, wind powered, water powered, ??? Otherwise how I would participate in this fun meme every week :-)

My pets (I'd say my family but I'm assuming they are going to be stuck with me anyway :-)

A lot of non-perishable food/water.

A nice shelter filled with supplies ( water, food, a working computer with internet ), then I might not mind being isolated for a good long time!! - the last three months of NY Times bestsellers, all my medications!

A hut for shelter, coconut trees (it will give me food and drink), uh oh I need something to chop the coconuts and that would be the third but I need a phone...so that would be the fourth! Please make it four things LOL!

Three things I would wish for in a desert. 1)My computer with Internet connection; 2) a bunch of backnumbers of NYT sunday editions, notably, the Magazine section. (I don't have fun reading long pieces online)
3)Some eats that I can keep nibbling at as a read - e g. cucumber sliced, salted peanut.

Misty,
For me, that's an easy question!! If I were on an island, (assuming I can't say I'd bring my family or my dogs) I'd bring: my binoculars, my camera, and my Kindle. Or, if there were internet connection, I'd bring my I-phone because I have a kindle reader on it.

I'm enjoying reading everyone's Camera Critters posts!

My husband, my camera, and fresh water. :) That's a quick answer. If you knew you were going to be stranded you'd want to think long and hard about what to have.

I would bring my cats and my computer that's more than 3 things, lol (if a cat is a thing) otherwise I would add two books.
